From the first phone call to the delivery of your order, you will only talk to Heidi or Troy. Everything is personalized and custom. All appointments will take place in your home or on-location. Here is the lo-down on how a studioU experience is like none other.
SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT
This one is easy, we find a time that works for U. We photograph seniors during weekdays, weekends are reserved for weddings and we don't do Sundays. The best light is in the evenings and these are the times that fill up the fastest. THE PHONE CONSULTATION
The phone consultation is when we will plan all the details of your personalized session. We'll chat about how and where we'll set-up in your home, what works best for clothing & backdrops, what products you are interested in, etc.
THE SESSION [the photo-shoot]
This is when the magic snaps happen...
We will meet at your home. Heidi will finalize clothing choices while Troy sets up the studio lighting and backgrounds for the indoor part of your session (if you choose). After that we will hop in our cars go explore. Locations depend a lot on where the light is good so every session ends up different.
We DON'T like doing the same stuff over and over so expect to have something no one else has!
THE VIEWING APPOINTMENT
About 7-14 days later, we'll meet at your home for your viewing appointment. This meeting is to view your proofs and place your order. We will project your images on your walls. We will display various sized prints, wall collage ideas, and frames to help visualize the finished product.
Half the order total is due at this appointment and the balance is due at delivery.
