"It's our birthday, we can cry if we want to"
We have had so much fun with our studioU baby plan kids (and their parents)... we're actually really sad it's over. Maybe we'll have to make a "studioU baby plan :: YEAR 2" package. Here are a few images from Ricky, Taylor, Harper, Avery and Lila's b-day sessions. ENJOY!!!
Recently we made a trip to New London to capture Tara, Brandon and Ashlynn's [& Beauchamp baby #2] family photos. Tara + Brandon just moved into their beautiful new home and they needed new portrait art to decorate their walls! We had so much fun meeting Ashlynn for the 1st time and playing together... who says "ring around the rosie" is just for kids?! After we shot downtown, we headed back to their new home to take a few Hawkeye photos in their backyard... even Gus posed for a few! We can't wait to get their portrait order printed and delivered- these images will look amazing on their walls :)
Belle's mommy, Kim (of KimAnne Photography), and I go way back... all the way to our college years at Hawkeye. We were so honored to capture Kim and Nick's maternity session last year and even more excited when she called to schedule Annabelle's [almost] one year photos! Kim mentioned that Belle is at such a 'cuddly' stage and they would really like to get that captured. I think the mission was accomplished. You guys are such a cute family and we are so blessed to have U in our lives!
Holy cow-- little baby Layne (see 10 month session HERE) is growing like a weed! Hard to believe he just celebrated his 2nd birthday. We had so much fun playing, photographing & chasing him around. Layne's mom, Amy, pulled the petal tractor from storage just for the photo shoot; it was hers as a little girl!
