It's always an honor when asked to photograph another photographer, especially when we're capturing their wedding day! This year we have four "fellow photographer" weddings- one in August, one in September and two in October!!! Jaimy of Ovation Photography and her fiance, Chris, are tying the knot Sept. 11th. They are planning an outdoor wedding, followed by a sweet masquerade reception at the IMU. We had a blast roaming around Iowa City to create their engagement images. Below are a few of our favorites. At
the end of April 2009 we had the opportunity to travel to Jacksonville,
Florida to capture Julie and Derelle's beachside wedding! Heidi and
Julie have been best friends since 4th grade so she not only
photographed the day, but was also Julie's matron of honor! We had a
great time and can't wait for the Iowa reception this weekend!
We owe a big thank you to our friends Scott and Raquel for all their support and encouragement as we moved back to Iowa. They are fantastic hosts, super generous and love to surround themselves with friends and family. We were honored to be able to capture their wedding. Here are a few pages from their album.
